Description: Waste management is an important part of the urban infrastructure as it ensures the protection of the environment and of human health. The impact of waste management on the environment has been widely recognized in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Amongst all GCC nations, Saudi Arabia leads the pack with generating hazardous medical waste weighing more than 80 tons everyday. In case of municipal solid waste, around 15 million tons is generated in the country each year which is expected to reach 30 million tons per year by 2033. At the 3rd Annual Kingdom waste management and Recycling event, key industry stake holders would gather to discuss and share on the key factors associated with waste identification, handling, storage and disposal. The event will provide in-depth insights on Industrial waste, hazardous Waste and Solid waste management. The conference will feature panel discussions, round table discussions and case studies.
